The walk back to the ship goes quickly enough; mostly because dad walks so much faster than he does because of his long legs. He has one clawed hand gripping the edge of dad's armour the whole way back and he peeks out around his cape to watch as the village disappears behind them.

It's warmer in the ship, away from the wind but there's still a chill in the air. It's far more bearable in his new clothes and so he settles down to watch his holo-program easily, only sparing a look at dad's disappearing back as he goes into his room.

He gets bored quickly though and wanders off to find something to play with.
